And almost 3 months later.... WINTER!

Hi Mom! (and all the other relatives who check in...)

The holiday craziness has passed and a new year begun. I am thankful every morning that I get another chance at a new day.

It has been a beautiful weekend here with balmy temps (for us) up around 30 degrees. The girls have spent a good part of the last three days in the backyard sledding.

Elizabeth helped out Sarah earlier this week for her first real rides of the year.She also had her going down alone on both her stomach and back. Sarah loved it.

There are three 'runs' they have set up down the hill. One has bumps in it, another turns. They both claim their own and the third to a friend. Elizabeth can come all the way up to the deck and Rachel the swing set and crab apple tree.

Our backyard is perfect for them sledding, which we love. I particularly enjoy the fact that I can watch and take pictures of them without leaving the house!
