John and Elizabeth's ride for MS was successful this Saturday. They rode on a team of 8 with my sister, college friend Amy and four others. They made it the full 30 miles and the rain did not start until 10 minutes after they finished their ride! Besides being a cool cloudy morning, they said it was good for a ride with little wind.
Thank you to everyone who supported their team. They raised over $7000 for MS!
Elizabeth said the best part was the complimentary massage at the end. She was very anxious about getting one. I think she thought they looked painful as she watched John, Sonya, and Amy get theirs. After a little encouragement, she did get on a table, but did not want them to do her legs. As we left, she couldn't stop talking about how good it felt. She already wants to ride again next year.
