The temperatures ventured into the 40's today giving everyone a serious dose of spring fever. A welcome sight after a January spent entirely below freezing until the last day of the month.
With all of the melting, Elizabeth and Rachel asked to go out and play in puddles as soon as they got home from school.
These two love to play in the rain! They immediately ditched the snowboots and winter coats, and donned their rain gear. I think this all might have a little to do with their umbrellas.
I mentioned that they might want some light gloves since there was still a chill. (It was only 41 degrees outside.) They said "No we'll be fine."
Notice after I called them back in 10 minutes how they were hiding their hands. They still had a blast.
The unfortunate thing is that it is still only early in February and we have plenty of winter and snow left.
We'll take the puddles when we can get them!
