All about Sarah

I thought I would do a post on each of the girls to catch you up on their summers first. Sarah gets to be first simply because of a haircut today - hers.

Sarah's summer was spent mostly in the job of sister aggravator. I think all little sisters have a hidden talent for knowing how to push the buttons of their older siblings. As the summer wore on, she pushed more. All in all, she just really wants their attention.

Her clarity of speech and comprehension are really good and she has a constantly inquiring mind. Her first questions upon waking are always "Where my Lizzie?",  "Where my Rachel?". Lately whenever we are in the car there is inevitably a "Where we going?". She is also fond of "What you doing?".

This summer she figured out how to ride a bike with training wheels - now that she can reach the pedals well. Now on to the issue of steering.

She loves to swing, jump on the trampoline, help with the laundry, empty the dishwasher, read books, color, and watch a movie. Anything on the television is a 'movie' to her.

The first week of September was the official turning point for potty training for us. We have been pre-training this summer with lots of sitting practice, talking, and preparation. As of today, we are on the fourth day of no accidents. She will let you know that she has to go, and has no issues with wherever you are. The easiest potty trainer ever for me. She is very proud of herself, as am I.

What a smirk! I couldn't resist showing this off!

As for the haircut, Sarah came along last week when Elizabeth and I had trims. She sat very well today, and thoroughly enjoyed the process.

 Can't you tell?

She looks so much older now!

Darling haircut! She does look so grown up, though. Congrats on potty training going so well!
