We had the privilege of volunteering at a Steven Curtis Chapman concert last night for 'Show Hope - a moment to care for orphans'. It was so inspiring to see how his passion for the orphan affected everyone present. All he asked for was loose change, so it could be used to support a family in the process of adoption. They pray for enough to be raised to support one family each night, and enough was given to support three!
Our job was to just man the buckets that people were to put their loose change into. It was obvious that everyone was giving their all by the odd things we found in the change - a safety pin, some screws, loose pills, and a Cabela's token. (Our fearless leader from the tour didn't even know what Cabela's was!)

We were also so blessed to meet other Chinese adoptive families from our area. Jeff and Diana returned with their daughter Ruby just a year ago from the same province we are headed to. It definitely made me all the more excited!
