I'm still playing catch up a little with the birthday weekend. On Sunday, February 15
(I can't believe it is almost a month already!) my sister Sonya and my sister-in-law's family
(Chris, Alan, Karson and Dalton) came over for a small family party for the birthday girl.
Sarah was very proud of herself that day and thoroughly enjoyed all the attention. She had her Uncle Alan reading her books, and made almost everyone prove they could make her new recorder or harmonica work. Thanks Reithers! The expression on her face when she realized she could do it too was priceless.

She was a very neat girl when it came to eating her cake. All the work decorating and Elmo was gone by Tuesday! It was good while it lasted.

On a present note we have been dealing with a cold for Sarah this week. What started out as a lovely cough, added a fever and a runny nose, and robbed me of any sleep on Wednesday night. We're over the fever and the runny nose has mutated into a more concentrated version. Hopefully we're over the half-way point.
After being in the house for 3 days we are ready for spring!
