After a horrible night of fever, general restlessness, throwing up, and a serious lack of sleep for me, we went to the pediatrician today. It confirmed what we were both suspecting, Sarah has pneumonia. The surprise was that she also has a double ear infection. At the medical exam before leaving China, the doctor said her ears looked good. This is however, a week and a half and two long plane rides later.
She has taken the medication fairly well today and looks like she is improving a little. Please pray for healthy sleep for everyone and healing for Sarah!

We are back from AZ. I am so sorry to hear that Sarah is so sick.... Thankfully, you are home, where she can get the love and attention she needs! I remember all too well what you are describing with your nights. I know you are exhausted. It is such a big transition for all of you. It did take us a long time to adjust with Ruby, but as you said someday you will say, "I remember when..." I don't want to bother you at home, but if there is anything I can do please call or email me. I would love to bring over a meal too. Hang in there. I will be praying for all of you!
