I couldn't resist a short post this morning. Sarah napped late yesterday, then fell asleep again at about 8:15 and did not wake up until 5:30 this morning! She filled her diaper and took a full 8 ounces!
These may seem like simple achievements, but in the land of adoption we are doing awesome. Constipation and sleep can be problems, and we have some families here who have babies refusing bottles.
We figured out that she weighs about 17-18 pounds, and the 12 month clothes have plenty of room in them.
We have managed to replace the clementine with a ball that she has a frim grip on. In the picture, you will notice Sparky (dog) and Pinky (hamster). They are Elizabeth's and Rachel's and they have requested a picture each day with them.
And yes, John was able to hold her and dance to SCC's "Cinderella" song this morning.

How could you resist taking pictures of that sweet thing! So glad to hear that she is doing great! Answered prayer!!!! She looks adorable in that outfit!! Ruby had that "take it all in" look at first too. But, it did not take long for her fun personality to shine through! Blessings for another great day with your beautiful gift from God! And congratulations to the big sisters too!

P.S. Her eyes are stunning!!!!
Blessed indeed! And how priceless that John got to dance with her to such a fitting song! I can't imagine how anxious the big sisters must be to meet Sarah. That little ball she's gripping looks familiar! It ought to hold up better than a clementine, huh? We rejoice with you that she is eating and sleeping well, and we pray that continues. Enjoy her! She's so adorable! Love, Diana & Michael

OH MY WORD - I thought I cried yesterday! I didn't know that white boy could dance?!
What a beautiful blessing from our Lord! Can't wait to hug her and squeeze those cheeks. We continue to pray for you all daily.
Love,

What a blessing you have! :-) She is beautiful, indeed...serious or not. :-) Congratulations over and over again! Enjoyed reading your blog and especially appreciate hearing about her clothing size since we're waiting too...our referral won't come till late 2010, but reading about your little blessing keeps us hoping. Thanks for that. So very happy for you all! Kent & Laurie Runge, Otter Tail County, MN
She is adorable! Enjoy this time you have with her! :)
