It's Friday morning here in Beijing. The sun is shining through the haze. When we left home on Wednesday, we walked Rachel to the bus stop and John told me that I would miss the blue sky and the clean air. I understand now. The sky is gray, but there don't appear to be any clouds. The picture is from the window of our hotel room. We're currently on the 10th floor of the Beijing Radisson.
Besides being seriously jetlagged, we're getting ready for a day of sightseeing in old Beijing. The plan is currently to go visit a Chinese Kindergarten and the home of a local family to see how they live. We're also going to dine at a 300 year old restaurant at some point today.
So as we head out today, have a good nights rest for us at home!

Enjoy every minute. Soak it all in. Get whatever rest you can before you get that precious little one. :0} Looking forward to reading more. The snow is finally melting here in MN!!!
