Our flight left Nanchang at 3:40 and after landing, getting our luggage, and driving in, we were at our next hotel by 7:00. John spent most of the flight sleeping and Sarah handled it very well. It was a really long day for him as he was exhausted and had no appetite. It was a long day for everyone else as well since we really didn't have time for lunch and did not eat until late.
Our only duty that night was to have Sarah's picture taken, I think for her visa because we already have her passport. We were supposed to do it first thing when we got to the hotel, but we had to change her first as she had a blow-out on the way from the airport.
Somewhere in the Nanchang airport we crossed a magic line because Sarah started babbling up a storm, smiling, and just being a silly girl. I must admit I felt a little in shock because she has been so serious. It was really cute though.
The photo is from our new hotel room. The softness of the bed makes up for the board we slept on in Nanchang. I'm not kidding, it was like sleeping on the floor. This is the smallest hotel room I have ever seen however. Apparently they are newly remodeled and are very nice, just small.
