With everything blooming, I am going to have spring withdrawal when I get home. The sun came out today and with temps in the 50s, all we needed was some blue sky. However, it is quite hazy.
Sarah has begun to open up to us. She is reaching for toys and playing with them. I was able to change her diaper without her screaming this morning! She was again this afternoon though. John has been holding her more and she fusses just a little and then settles in.
She also started feeding herself things this morning. Pancakes, yogurt, and dragon fruit were the hits of the day today for her. I've never tried dragonfruit before, but it is really good and resembles kiwi a great deal.
John worked out this afternoon and I'm posting as she naps. Otherwise we're going to continue to play and bond. Enjoy the picture. I was playing with her this morning and that is the closest to a smile we have seen!
Thanks so much for all your prayers and comments! We love reading them. If you want to reach us individually, we are able to get to our email.

First of all, I just want to squeeze those cheeks! She really is beautiful. I printed her photo out for Jeff to see Monday night, and he said "Wow - she is Gorgeous!!!" We are so happy for you, and we look forward to the day when our two Jiangxi girls can play. I will continue to pray for Sarah to trust you completely. It is clear how much you already love her! Isin't adoption amazing?!!!
Blessing for more wonderful moments! -Diana
